OGDENSBURG — The Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad is recruiting volunteers for a new auxiliary.

The Auxiliary of the Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad Inc. is a separate organization that raises funds to help support the rescue squad and assist in social activities by preparing food and events.

Applicants must be at least 18 but are not required to have a driver’s license.

Auxiliary applications may be obtained from the rescue squad, 101 State St., or by emailing a request to William Lovely at secretary@ogdensburgrescue.org.

Applicants will be called in for an interview and accepted pending a drug screening and background check.
