Ambrose C. Barnes, 23, of 71 Public Square, was charged by state police Saturday with third-degree criminal trespass at Watertown Budget Inn, 19226 Route 11.

Police said that after he was told to stay away from the motel, he climbed through a window Saturday night to get into one of the motel rooms. He is ordered to appear in town of Watertown Court.
