Winthrop - Anna L. Thompson, 81, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 24, 2012, at her home surrounded by the love of her family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Anna's funeral service and Celebration of Life will commence Friday morning at 10 with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Church with Rev. Garry Giroux celebrating, with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
