Sorgie strikes out 10 as Mohawk Valley routs Watertown

LITTLE FALLS — Cameron Sorgie struck out 10 and Hassan Evans clubbed a three-run home run in the third inning as the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs routed the Watertown Wizards, 10-2, in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League contest Sunday at Veterans Park.

Jack Morrow added a lead-off home run in the bottom of the fifth inning for Mohawk Valley (7-8). Tyler Hall went 3-for-3 with two RBIs.

Donald Walter socked a solo home run in the fifth for Watertown (6-10). Brandon Cipolla added an RBI groundout.

The Wizards host the Oneonta Outlaws for the second time in three days at 7 p.m. at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds. Watertown lost to Oneonta 10-6 in 11 innings Saturday.
