Funeral services for47 year old Sonya Marie King of Syracuse, and formerly of Parishville, will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 4:00 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam with Rev. Sheila Nichols and Jeff Burghdurf co-0fficiating with a reception following at the Brasher Falls United Methodist Church. Friends may call at the Seymour Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

Survivors include her Mother and Step-Father Diane and Jeffrey Burghdurf of Parishville, one son Nicholas M. King, Parishville, one sister Sheila M. Meisel of Conger Island, Florida, five brothers Harold A. King and wife Rebecca, Raleigh, North Carolina, Christian A. King and wife Carrie of Parishville, Kenneth W. King of Lancaster, New Hampshire, Aaron W. Jones and wife Angie of Lisbon, New Hampshire, Steward King, Sarasota, Florida and several Nieces and Nephews. Sonya’s Father died before her.

Friends and Family who wish may make donations in her memory to the Parishville Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Sonya was born March 21, 1965 in Oswego, New York, the daughter of Steward W. and Diane F. McGibbon.
