CARTHAGE Village officials have scheduled a public hearing for 7:10 p.m. July 16 on a local law for the administration and enforcement of the state Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and the state Energy Conservation Construction Code.
The proposed law outlines the duties of the code enforcement officer and inspectors. It defines when a building permit is needed and how it is to be utilized.
