LAFARGEVILLE — William L. Salisbury, 62, Clayton, was treated for a neck injury Monday afternoon at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, after he was involved in an accident at 1:15 p.m. on County Route 13 in the town of Orleans, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.

A deputy reported that Mr. Salisbury fell asleep while driving northeast, and his pickup went off the left side of the road on a curve. The truck went down an embankment into a wooded area, where it struck several small trees. No summonses were issued.
