■ CAPE VINCENT — The Cape Vincent Zoning Law Revision Committee will hold its public hearing on the newly updated town zoning law at 6 p.m. today at Recreation Park, James Street.

■ POTSDAM — Thursday’s meeting of the St. Lawrence County Industrial Development Agency, its Local Development Corp. and the Civic Development Corp. has been rescheduled to 8:30 a.m. July 11 at Cheel Center, Clarkson University.

■ Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo has ordered state flags to fly at half-staff today in honor of Maj. Paul C. Voelke, a soldier from the town of Monroe who died in Afghanistan on Friday. Maj. Voelke was a member of the 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.
