Jefferson County sheriffs deputies allege that a town of Watertown man intentionally backed his car into a light pole on private property in the town of Rutland late Saturday, then drove away.
Cary W. Lane, 44, of 21601 Floral Drive, Lot 7A, faces charges of fourth-degree criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident and unsafe backing.
The incident occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. Saturday on the property of John P. Arca, 23184 Taylor Drive, town of Rutland. Mr. Lane was cited Sunday evening.
