A Henderson man approached his estranged wife Thursday evening at her home, then grabbed her and gave her a hug, according to the Jefferson County Sheriffs Department.
The actions by Chad G. Denehy, 38, of 8905 Route 178, violated stay-away terms of an order of protection held by Erin M. Denehy, 33, deputies said.
Mr. Denehy was arrested on charges of felony criminal contempt, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment. The incident occurred in the presence of their two children, ages 11 and 5, at their home on Cagwin Road. Mr. Denehy was released and ordered to appear in Watertown Town Court.
