GOUVERNEUR— A woman was arrested on several drug-related charges by state police at 11:37 a.m. Thursday.

Brittney A. Barr, 20, of 470 Smith Road, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument, both class A misdemeanors.

Ms. Barr was found in possession of metal spoons with drug residue and hypodermic needles, troopers said. Ms. Barr was also cited with marijuana possession, a violation, and issued an appearance ticket.
