POTSDAM A law passed by the village Board of Trustees makes certain managerial village employees responsible for more of their health care costs.
Employees hired after June 2, 2011, will pay 10 percent of their health expenses, instead of the 5 percent paid by employees hired after Jan. 2, 2002.
The cost-cutting measure was approved unanimously by the village board June 18.
