A Watertown woman was sentenced Monday in Jefferson County Court to two years in state prison for trying to sell heroin.

Crystle M. Robinson, 23, of 305 Gotham St., also will have to undergo an additional three years of supervision upon her release for a June 6 guilty plea to third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance. She had been accused in a grand jury indictment handed up in May of selling heroin in late January and again in late February.

She was sentenced Monday as a second felony offender, having been sentenced in March 2007 to 1¹⁄₃ to 4 years in prison for a second-degree attempted assault conviction. In that incident, she had been accused of trying to injure a corrections officer at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building by striking her in the leg.

In other court activity:

Lucas J. Tebo, 21, address not available, admitted violating probation and was resentenced to one to three years in prison. He admitted violating probation by absconding from supervision after his probation had been transferred from St. Lawrence County to Jefferson County. He was serving probation for a third-degree attempted burglary conviction. Judge Kim H. Martusewicz recommended that he serve his sentence in the prison system’s shock incarceration program. If deemed eligible by the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, he will spend six months in prison and then serve the balance of his sentence on parole.

Kevin T. Maguire, 24, of 21577 Pork Hill Road, Rodman, pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal possession of marijuana. He admitted that he possessed more than 8 ounces of marijuana Feb. 28, 2011, at his residence.

Quantie N. Elliott, 24, Utica, was arraigned on two counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The charges were contained in a grand jury indictment unsealed in court. It is alleged that she had and sold cocaine twice on the same late April day within the county. She pleaded not guilty to the charges and was sent to the PSB on $10,000 bail.

Stanley R. Kims was arraigned on a 2010 indictment containing counts of first- and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Mr. Kims was previously tried on the counts, convicted and sentenced in March 2011 to 16 years in prison. He also was convicted of second-degree criminal possession of marijuana. In June, the state Appellate Division, Fourth Department, overturned the controlled substance possession convictions and sent the matter to County Court for further proceedings.

Mr. Kims pleaded not guilty to the charges and Judge Martusewicz set bail at $30,000. Mr. Kims is still being held at Attica Correctional Facility on a three-year sentence on the marijuana possession conviction, which was not overturned by the appellate court.
