Red & Black to host Amsterdam on Saturday

The Watertown Red and Black will host the Amsterdam Zephyrs, an Empire Football League foe, in its final preseason game at 7:30 Saturday night at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.

Watertown defeated Amsterdam, 50-16, in the only regular-season meeting between the two clubs last season.

The Red and Black is 0-1 this preseason after suffering a 33-5 loss to the South Buffalo Celtics on June 23 at the Fairgrounds. Watertown opens the regular season with a game at the Monroe County Sting on July 14.
