Sharon LaVancha Briggs, 70, formerly of Carthage, died on Thursday, June 5, 2012 at the Nash Memorial Hospital in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 9am-11am at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. which is located at 500 State Street in Carthage, and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Funeral Home with The Reverend David Allison, officiating, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene in Carthage. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Carthage.
