■ There will be a free yoga session from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Roswell P. Flower Memorial Library.
■ The Jefferson Community College board of trustees meeting will be postponed to 4 p.m. Wednesday in Room 6-220 in the Jules Center.
■ The City Council recently agreed to hire Bowers and Co. CPAs PLLC to complete an annual audit over the next five years. The local firm will be paid $120,000 over that time.
■ Farmers should submit crop reports to the U.S. Department of Agricultures Farm Service Agency by July 16. Call the USDA Farm Service Agency in Jefferson County at 782-7289, ext. 2, to make an appointment.
■ Councilman Joseph M. Butler Jr., Jefferson County Legislator Anthony J. Doldo, R-Watertown, and Deborah A. Cavallario of Thompson Boulevard were reappointed to three-year terms on the citys Empire Zone Administrative Board.
■ BLACK RIVER The village sidewalk committee will install sidewalks along Maple Street from Union Street to Sally Ploof Hunter Memorial Library. The committee plans to work on South Main Street going toward Route 3 next year.
