GOUVERNEUR A Harrisville man found with a white, powdery substance in his vehicle was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Sunday by state police.
Zachary S. Morris, 23, of Church Street, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument, both class A misdemeanors. He also was cited with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Mr. Morris was pulled over on Route 11 in Gouverneur and found to be driving with a suspended vehicle registration. Police found a white, powdery substance claimed to be Vicodin, a hypodermic needle and a small amount of marijuana in his car, troopers said.
