■ POTSDAM — A car crashed into the house at 121 Market St. about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, rupturing a natural gas line and sending the driver to the hospital. No other injuries were reported, village police said. The accident remains under investigation.

■ LOWVILLE — A joint meeting of the Lewis County Board of Legislators and Lewis County General Hospital Board of Managers will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the second-floor legislative chambers at the county office building, North State Street, for general discussion.
