CANTON— Two men were charged Monday by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies with petit larceny and trespassing after police recovered a Texaco sign stolen in May.

Terry M. Vinch, 25, of 609 Patterson St., Ogdensburg, and Chauncey J. Pray, 22, of 311 Woods Road, Lisbon, are accused of stealing the round, 72-inch sign from the side of the victim’s garage on County Route 10, deputies said.

They were issued appearance tickets for Lisbon Town Court.
