Damien M. Possemato, 17, of 1704 State St., was charged by Watertown police at 2:30 a.m. Thursday with endangering the welfare of a child.

It is alleged that he assisted another resident of the Children’s Home of Jefferson County, a 15-year-old male, in running away from the home.

He is due to answer the charge in City Court.
