The Thousand Island Privateers announced Paul Kelly will serve as head coach for the upcoming Federal League season at a press conference on Thursday at the Best Western in Watertown.

Kelly, who led the Privateers to the playoffs last season as a player/coach, will guide the team which has officially made the move from Alexandria Bay and will play at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena.

The team also announced the re-signing of forwards Adam McAllister, Chase Tippen, defenseman Nick Williams and goalie Matt Anthony, with the balance of the roster yet to be announced.
