CANTON — Champion fiddler Donald F. Woodcock, Kendrew Corners, is profiled in a feature written by Traditional Arts in Upstate New York folklorist Varick A. Chittenden in the summer issue of Fiddler Magazine.

“Don Woodcock: Nurturing a Family Legacy with Fiddle and Bow” tells the story of the St. Lawrence County dairy farmer and teacher who is the state grand champion fiddler.

TAUNY presented Mr. Woodcock with its North Country Heritage Award in 1997.
