SACKETS HARBOR — Plenty of lacrosse balls were flying through the air during Saturday’s annual 1812 Shootout at Madison Barracks.

Girls lacrosse teams, ranging from the fifth- and sixth-grade levels to all the way through varsity-level squads, competed at various stages in Sackets Harbor.

The tournament continues to grow each year to coincide with the popularity of the girls’ sport.
