Watertown police on Saturday charged Michelle W. St. Juste, 22, of 240 E. Main St., Apt. 4, with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Ms. St. Juste was accused of trying to get to her husband, Evens, by kicking open a door to a spare room, causing the door jamb to splinter and break off the frame.

She was arraigned before part-time Watertown City Judge Catherine J. Palermo, sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and later released on $200 bail.
