Rep. Bill Owens has plans to open a fourth campaign office, this one in Potsdam.
Campaign manager James Hannaway said that the joint venture with the state Democratic Party will open sometime this week at 75 Market St., Suite 101.
Potsdam is a small village, but it's also a college town and a major Democratic outpost, home to SUNY Potsdam and Clarkson University. Next-door Canton is home to SUNY Canton and St. Lawrence University.
The campaign has offices in Glens Falls and Plattsburgh, and will eventually open a campaign office in the Marcy Building, 167 Polk St., here in the city.
Mr. Owens' Nov. 6 opponent, Republican Matt Doheny, has an office in Glens Falls and an office at 132 Court St. in the city.
