The United Presbyterian Church of Sackets Harbor will host its annual silent auction for two weekends in August.

Items donated for the auction include handcrafted wooden items, old tools, gift baskets, gift certificates from area businesses, donations of time and talent, quilts and a hand-woven 92-by-27-inch wool rug . They will be on display at the Fellowship Hall at Main and Broad streets in the village.

Bids will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 12 and from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Aug. 19, when all items will be awarded to the highest bidders.
