COLTON — The state Department of Environmental Conservation announced Wednesday that the canoe and cartop boat access trail to the Raquette River at Moody Falls is finished.

The site includes a four-car parking lot and improved road access.

An official opening for the site, off Route 56 north of Seveys Corners, will be at 10 a.m. Sunday as part of Raquette River Awareness Week.
