Watertown- Patrick J. Motyka, 51, of US RT 11, Watertown died Wednesday afternoon at the Samaritan Medical Center where he had been a patient for about two weeks.

Mr. Motyka was born February 26, 1961 in Hazelcrest, IL to Eugene and Margaret (Nughton) Motyka. He was a graduate of Gouverneur High School. Mr. Motyka was a self employed carpenter most recently working with his good friend Adam Brown of Protex in Watertown. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Watertown.

Surviving are his companion Ann Runner, Watertown, a son Matthew Motyka, Clifton Fine, NY, a daughter Michelle Motyka, TX, one granddaughter, five brothers John (Aldone), IN, David, IL, Andrew, Gouverneur, NY, Christopher, Watertown, NY and Rick (Teresa), IL, two sisters Sherry (Willie) Sotomayer, MA, Ann (Richard) Woodard, NV and his ex-wife Sue Carson. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Robert.
