The event, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and co-sponsored by the Lewis County Sheriffs Office and the Lewis County Youth Bureau, is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in anti-crime efforts and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
There will be demonstrations by local law enforcement agencies, and youth activities are planned for all ages.
Reality Check will provide music and synthetic drug prevention information. Lewis County Opportunities Inc. will offer teen activities, including In Her Shoes, a domestic violence presentation. A batting cage and a Forest Ranger air boat will be on hand.
There will be drawings for gift cards and door prizes throughout the evening, and food will be available for purchase.
