GOUVERNEUR — Tyler W. Wells, 21, Johnston Street, was charged at 2:30 p.m. Thursday by state police with second-degree obstructing governmental administration.

He is accused of knowing the whereabouts of a wanted criminal but giving false information to police. Officials declined to elaborate on the case or the suspect in question.
