GOUVERNEUR — A village resident was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief after allegedly preventing a family from reaching first responders.

St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies said Dale Maltice, 43, of 64 Bullard St., acted following a report of a domestic incident that took place on Little Bow Road.

Arraigned in Fowler Town Court, he was released with orders to appear in Gouverneur Town Court.
