Kristina M. Finney, 19, of 207 Wealtha Ave., Apt. 649D, was arrested by city police Tuesday for the alleged assault of her mother.

Charged with third-degree assault, she was released without bail Wednesday by part-time City Judge Catherine J. Palermo.

Police said her mother, Brenda L. Delgado, 36, of 166 High St., suffered bruising to both eyes, her lips and her underarms from an alleged assault that occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday in her home.

Ms. Finney was charged in April with endangering the welfare of a child. She satisfied the charge by pleading guilty to a reduced count of harassment, and was assessed a fine and court fees amounting to $200, according to City Court.
