FORT DRUM — Post officials are warning there will be excessive military traffic on Route 26 between Route 3 and Route 11 from today through Friday. The rise in traffic is connected to the end of the post’s Mountain Peak exercise.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area at all times when possible, as longer than usual delays may occur at stop signs and traffic lights.
