PARISHVILLE — The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department on Friday night investigated the drowning of a 6-year-girl in the Allen Falls Reservoir near 21 Rosenbarker Drive.

The death of Angel Sochia, 29 County Route 53, Brasher Falls, was ruled an accidental drowning, a detective said in a press release.

Parishville Rescue and firefighters responded to the 6:35 p.m. call, and located the child in the water. She was unresponsive to attempts to revive her. Colton firefighters assisted.

No other details were immediately available.

Angel was born Jan. 11, 2006.
