Katharine Marie Thomas, 82 died peacefully July 27, 2012 at Wuesthoff Hospice Home in Rockledge, Florida. She was a longtime Watertown resident, only recently relocating to Florida to be near family. Katharine was born on March 4, 1930 in Harrisville to Alvah and Lucille Koster. She graduated from Harrisville High School. She later worked at House of the Good Samaritan (currently Samaritan Medical Center) as a Nurse’s Aide in Labor & Delivery for many years. She moved to Florida in 1977 and remained there until 1996 when she returned to Watertown.

Katharine is survived by her children Eugene Finley of San Diego, CA, Larry Finley of CA and Debbie Thomas Nickle of Indian Harbour Beach, FL. Grandchildren are Corey Thomas, Sara Nickle and John Nickle, all of Indian Harbour Beach. Surviving siblings are Donald Koster of Belleview, FL, Dianne Fraser of Harrisville, NY and Beverly Miksa of Belleview, FL as well as her aunt Marian Carvell of Philadelphia, PA and countless nieces, nephews and other relatives.

At her request, there will be no service performed. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida.
