Donna Kay Leonard 67 of Unadilla passed away peacefully at home with her family on Sunday, August 5, 2012.

She was born December 6, 1944 to the late Guy Keith Stanton and Leatrice (Bennett) Saunders in Sidney. Donna graduated from Sidney Central School and was employed by SUNY Oneonta when she retired in August of 2009. Donna married Charles Leonard on July 10, 1964 and was a dedicated member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sidney.

She is survived by: Husband – Charles Leonard, Unadilla, 3 Children – Charles Stewart Leonard and his wife Sue, Carthage, NY, Bonnie Lea Houck and her husband Jay, Sidney, Kenneth Alan Leonard and his wife Emily, St. Albans, MO, Sisters – Gwendolyn Morgan, Norwich, Norma Noreen Viele, Sidney, Brother – Raymond Keith Stanton, Georgia, Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 15 Liberty St. Sidney with Rev. Fr. Gordon Polenz officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Unadilla Emergency Squad 77 Clifton St. Unadilla, NY 13849, Sidney Emergency Squad 72 River St. Sidney, NY 13838 or Sacred Heart Church 15 Liberty St. Sidney, NY 13838.
