RAPE - DEKALB - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies have charged Edwin C. Bevins Jr., 25, of 730 County Route 19, Hermon, with three counts of second-degreerape and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child .

Sheriff’s department investigators allege Bevins had sexual relations with a victim under the age of fifteen during

July 2010 in the Town of Dekalb.

Bevins was arraigned by Pierrepont Town Justice Robert Camp and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond.
