ENDANGERING THE WELFARE - BRASHER FALLS A Brasher Falls woman accused being intoxicated and cursing at a nine-year-old was arrested by Winthrop-based state police at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Tammy J. Christian, 51, whose address was not released, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Ms. Christian allegedly asked a friend to pick her up in town and bring her home. When she arrived home, shes accused of being belligerent and argumentative, as well as swearing at her friends nine-year-old granddaughter, troopers said. Her friends name was not released. While investigating, police also found a small amount of marijuana, troopers said.
Ms. Christian was issued an appearance ticket and released.
