LYONS FALLS A Boonville teen was accused of damaging a village car wash and stealing money.
Lewis County sheriffs deputies charged Jason T. Lynch, 16, of 8149 Boonville Road, with third-degree grand larceny and second-degree criminal mischief, answerable in West Turin Town Court.
He was accused of helping to cause $6,000 worth of damage to two control panels at North Country Car Wash and steal about $4,000 in cash from the machines on July 27.
The investigation is continuing, with other arrests anticipated, deputies said.
Mr. Lynch a few weeks ago was charged with second-degree harassment for allegedly kicking a relative in the stomach on July 17 at a residence on Fulton Street in Lyons Falls.
