WEST CARTHAGE A Carthage man was taken to Carthage Area Hospital on Tuesday evening after state police say he was knocked down and run over by an unattended farm tractor.
Jonathan Hoose, 18, of 108 Emjay Way, suffered arm and leg injuries in the accident, which occurred on the property of Roxanne J. Lawler, 35619 North Lake Road, town of Champion, police said. Mr. Hoose was standing close to the tractor when shortly after 6 p.m. it started to roll, a trooper reported.
Mrs. Lawler could not be reached for comment Wednesday.
