OGDENSBURG The union representing Claxton-Hepburn Medical Centers service and maintenance employees ratified a three-year labor agreement with the hospital.
The 1199 SEIU started discussions with the hospital in June and settled the contract in three working sessions.
The deal, which extends to July 31, 2015, guarantees employees 2 percent salary increases in years one and two, with a 2.5 percent increase in year three.
The contract would also give employees a lump-sum payment of 0.75 percent of their wages if certain organizational goals are met and requires the hospital to increase its contributions to the employees pension plan.
