A Watertown man was resentenced Thursday in Jefferson County Court to up to five years in state prison for violating Drug Court.

Domenick V. Pallotta, 45, was sentenced to 1 23 to 5 years in prison and a $2,500 fine for violating conditions of the substance abuse rehabilitation program that is designed to serve as an alternative to incarceration.

He was referred to the program in January 2009 for guilty pleas to driving while ability impaired by drugs and second-degree criminal contempt. He admitted violating terms of Drug Court by absconding from its supervision. He also pleaded guilty to second-degree bail jumping for absconding from the program.

He was sentenced as a second-felony offender, having been convicted of felony driving while intoxicated in 2006 in Orange County.

Chelsea L. Pitre, 22, Watertown, also admitted violating Drug Court by absconding from its supervision and was resentenced to 1 13 to 4 years in prison and a $750 fine. She was referred to the program in December 2010 for third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and driving while ability impaired by drugs.

Andre W. Bradley, 20, Bronx, was sentenced to a year in prison, followed by an additional year of supervision upon his release, for March 27 guilty pleas to fifth-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

He admitted he tried to possess codeine pills with the intent to sell the drug and did possess a loaded handgun Nov. 11 at McDonald’s in Adams. A second man, Shon T. Dutton Jr., 18, also of the Bronx, pleaded guilty in February to third-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance, admitting that he tried to possess 21 bundles of heroin with the intent to sell the drug at McDonald’s. The men left the drugs and the gun inside a duffel bag at the restaurant after noticing a police officer. Mr. Dutton was sentenced March 26 to 1½ years in prison.
