WATERTOWN, NY – Pauline D. Ainsworth Carwile, 80, of Haven Street, passed away in the afternoon of August 9, 2012, where she was under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.
Per Paulines wishes, there will be no funeral or calling hours. There will be an informal gathering of friends and family at the home of Jerry Ainsworth on August 25th. A private burial will be in the Brantingham Cemetery. Arrangements are with Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Inc., Theresa.
Born January 13, 1932, in the City of Watertown, a daughter of the late Erwin K. Ainsworth and Doris P. Freeman Ainsworth, she graduated in 1950 from Pulaski Academy and Central School.
She married Matthias M. (J.R.) Carwile on September 18, 1971.
She and her husband enjoyed travelling in their camper trailer, playing golf, and caring for their poodle dogs, Snoopy and Brandi.
She worked at Northland Electric Motors for 12 years, then at Stature Electric for 22 years, retiring in 1997.Surviving are two sisters, Sandra (Sawnee) Rogers and husband Paul of Lyons Falls, NY and Mary Jane (Jackie) Houck and partner, Pete McLane of Beaver Falls, NY; two brothers, Robert Ainsworth of Theresa, NY and Jerry Ainsworth and wife Janet of Theresa, NY; many nieces and nephews.
Pauline is predeceased by her husband J.R. who died on July 7, 2006, a sister-in-law, June Ainsworth and a brother-in-law, Gerald Houck.
