EVANS MILLS — Samantha L. Duhon-MacCue, 36, of 29566 Lashaw Road, was charged Aug. 10 by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies with second-degree assault.

She is accused of striking Holly J. MacCue, 29584 Lashaw Road, in the left arm with a baseball bat during a domestic incident that day on the front lawn adjoining their respective properties.

Holly MacCue was taken by ambulance to Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where she was treated for a fractured left arm, deputies said.

Ms. Duhon-MacCue was arraigned in LeRay Town Court and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, Watertown, on $1,000 bail.
