Ernest G. Getman, 55, of 131 Breen Ave., was charged by Watertown police Saturday night at his residence with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Police said Mr. Getman possessed a stolen a LG smartphone belonging to Chad E. Hosey, 26, of 138 N. Michigan Ave., Apt. 3, and sold it to a pawn shop for $20.

He was ordered to appear in City Court.
