MASSENA – Ms. Suzanne Wood, 51, of 94 Water Street, peacefully passed at Thursday morning, August 30, 2012 at Massena Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Suzanne was born April 21, 1961 in Croydon, Surrey, England the daughter of Raymond and Barbara Lang Wood. She attended schools in England, Virginia, and New York. She was an avid animal lover and was devoted to her family and friends. Suzanne always had a smile on her face and had the ability to leave you with a smile through her kindness and generous spirit.

Suzanne will be sadly missed by her father and stepmother, Raymond and Skip Wood of Massena; her siblings, Rosalyn Wood and her companion, DeAnne Vincent of Easthampton, MA; Elizabeth Pisani and her companion, Nicholas Woodruff of Binghamton; Anthony and Debra Mitchell of Sebree, KY; Aarik and Ann Mitchell of Green Bay, WI; William Wood or Brunswick, ME; and Benjamin Pisani of Binghamton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother, Barbara Pisani on August 10, 2008; her stepfather, Ralph Pisani on March 19, 2006; and an infant sister, Audrey Wood on July 4, 1978.

Friends may call Friday (today) 12- 2:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM. Burial will be held at the conviencence of the family in Calvary Cemetery, Massena.

In lieu of flowers, Suzanne wishes donations in her memory by donated to the Massena Humane Society.
