The Coleman Montessori Center, which recently was located at 3 Public Square, has left Watertown, according to its owner, Nancy Coleman.

Ms. Coleman, declining Friday to say where she is re-establishing her business, said she has left the state.

Parents who have made advance payments for their children to attend her preschool in Watertown are being issued refunds, she said.

“All the families know the school has closed, and they have all been spoken to,” she said. “They know how to reach me.”

Ms. Coleman said she was forced to move from the Public Square location, so she had to deal with that before attending to refunds.

Watertown police and the Watertown office of the state attorney general’s office said they have received no complaints about refund issues with the school.
