Edward J. Blake III, 29, of 616 Lansing St., was charged Monday by Watertown police with second-degree criminal contempt, and faces prosecution in City Court.

Police said he is accused of sending several text messages Monday morning to Michelle L. Leone, 27, of 120 Charles St., violating stay-away terms of a Family Court order of protection.
