LORRAINE Two 17-year-old Watertown girls are accused of jumping a 15 year-old girl early the morning of Aug. 27 at a party in the town of Lorraine in a dispute over postings on Facebook, according to state police.
Lexa R. Spencer, 220 W. Main St., and Makenzie N. Roberts, 153 Haney St., are due to appear in town of Lorraine Court to face charges of third-degree assault, aggravated harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.
The victim was treated for a head injury at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, police said.
Also treated was Amber L. Kidder, 24, Adams, who was struck in the face while attempting to assist the juvenile, an investigator said.
The Facebook posting involved some boasting about a past situation, the investigator said, declining to elaborate.
