TUPPER LAKE — A Gouverneur man accused of violating an order of protection was arrested by village police at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kevin M. Yaw, 32, was charged with misdemeanor second-degree criminal contempt.

Police said Mr. Yaw called someone who holds a no-contact order against him on Aug. 23. The victim’s name was not released.
